I had plans that fell through at the last minute this afternoon, and since I was feeling myself steering towards the prospect of spend said afternoon in front of the TV eating crap, I said: “No.” And I took my bike to head downtown, with the sudden aim of doing something I should have done [...]

It seems to be a given on many blogs I tour, and on the forums I browse as well: almost every single woman there will sooner or later complain about PMS and the weird cravings it induces. I’ve been at overcoming my bad habits and replacing them by healthy ones since 2005, so I’ve [...]

Now this is a weird thing!
Back when I was at my heaviest weight, I had become quite talented to avoid being on a photo. It helped that I was the one who took them most of the time, because if I didn’t offer it, nobody would have taken pictures at all. Nevertheless, that was a [...]

That title doesn’t look nor sound like anything special in itself, right?
However, for me, it is!
I’ve already mentioned my sister in a few posts here. She really is the skinny type, with a slim body, long legs, a lean face… Everything in her is slim. I won’t say that she has NO weight problems, because [...]

The weather in France may be crappy at the moment, but I still have hopes for warmer days this summer, and so I got my hair cut very short again to prevent it from weighing against my neck in two weeks, when the hairdressing school clothes for two months. (Yes, I know I’m cheap, I [...]

…And no condition attached to it. No “if ony you’d lose weight”. Wow.
A little earlier this evening, I had decided to take a walk in the park. I always like doing that after dinner, when the temperature has fallen a little and I don’t run the risk of getting a sunstroke just by staying outside [...]

I’ve decided that, in spite of the chronic lack of money that is bound to plague almost every student on Earth, the fact that I’ll soon need to buy new capris is a good thing.
God knows I like those capris, though. They’re nice, they’re black (I really like black), they’re pretty convenient both in summer [...]

One of the things I recently came to realize was that I miss being “feminine”. I miss wearing little dresses and make-up. I miss putting hats on my head and wondering what pair of earrings I could pick to go with my clothes of the day. Does this sound vain? Yeah, maybe. What I know is that, if I feel pretty, if I feel feminine and sexy, it actually gives me some strength to go on walking on this road to weight loss.

This past week has not been very interesting, and I’m still feeling frustrated by Thursday’s attempts at going swimming. It’s been 12 years I haven’t set foot in a public pool, and the only day I finally feel like going again, my bag complete with swmisuit, glasses, towels and the likes, I see that they’re [...]

August 16th will mark my first year in Second Life, an online virtual world in which one can build items, create clothing and design their own avatars, among many other things. In the past few months, busy with other things, I hadn’t logged in there a lot; however, I still come back to this community very regularly, if only because I sell clothes there and like pleasing my customers.

What does this have to do with weight loss and fitness, one may ask?
